Nice hot hatch!

Recently sold my BMW 3 series coupe, kept breaking.

Now driving a new Vectra until the weather gets better, then I will probably buy an M3.

Fantastic Dave, i saw that a bit ago you were looking at an MR2, but guessing by you're name "hybrid" as in hybrid turbo that you bought one and have moved on!

Always wanted an MR2 but when the GTI came along basically ready to take round a racetrack with 6 gears and class leading handling i got a bit sidetracked!

Only trouble is with them being french it runs brilliantly when all's good, but there are numerous resolutions to one problem when you get it and it can be a pain replacing things to find it was never that bit in the first place!

I see the picture's been removed, is this the forum admin cleaning up the forums?

My apologies it's still there, it just didn't load up straight away. M3's are immense cars going by what i've heard.......... DO IT! But yes wait til the weather's nicer, even with brand new Goodyear tyres on the front of mine i can still tell the roads are very greasy! Especially in the countryside B roads where i live

Dave Hybrid because one of the companies I run is Hybrid Computers.

I did look at a few but they are horribly impractical so I needed a second car. My insurance company wouldn't let me have a two car policy and I decided two policies was an unnecessary expense.

The GTi hatches are good, quick cars, but I much prefer rear wheel drive and a longer body = more fun.

That's why I have the Vectra, rear wheels and that much power is a problem with snow and ice.

I agree, and they're certainly no slouch, i think a few years ago our family hired a 1.8 petrol CDX or something similar and with a few of us in it went well! I'm only 24 so it would be when i was around 14.

I'm thinking once i'm working in the IT field and i've acquired my CCNA i'd like to own a Civic Type R Mk1, not fussed on the new ones, too space age looking for my liking!

MR2's are very impractical, if i remember rightly there are no rear seats at all, you couldn't even carry a server if you needed to move from one place to another.......!

Does anyone else on here have anything nice?
I'm quite a big fan on cars, very fond of early days rallycross and Group B rallying etc....
