What did Santa bring you then?
Me? The usual; socks, chocolates, booze. Docking station for my archos. Another external hdd (always useful), a years gold subscription to Xbox live and a 300mm APO lens for my camera. Needless to say I'm stoked.

Halo 3. Anytime baby! Nice to hear about the quad. I'm still deciding on cpu and motherboard and ram. I do fancy the QX9650 but it's very expensive, so I'm leaning toward the Q6600 as well.

In this case you are getting a very good mobo. It'll easily allow 3ghz on the quad.
But most espensive isn't necessarily the best.

i chose it because it has the linux boot (wich is good for many reasons including bragging rights) the wireless n card and it supports ddr3 and as far as i know the x48 chipset motherboard supports the x38 processors
