I just happened to access this site using Konqueror instead of Firefox. I hadn't realized there was that giant google advertising pane just above here! So I guess you Internet Explorer users get that too?

I really like Firefox and Adblock Plus!

No, I use FF and see the ads.

They work in different ways, the Google ones need to be clicked to earn, the banners just need to show up.

That's what I mean. Adblock+ is Firefox's no1 extension, and looking at Konqueror vs Firefox, I see no ads at all in Firefox whereas In Konqueror I get a large pane at the top and a banner at the bottom!

The thing is the ads are only blocked if you block them with a FF plugin.

Considering this means we make less than we do already and all you have to do is browse the site like normal anyway it's a way of giving something back to us without actually doing anything extra.
