Is there any one aspect of your work that you really like (apart from payday)?. Mine is road testing. After a car is newly built or adjusted it must be tested. Luckily the owners are not always available to do this. Unfortunately then I must do it. To say that you get a buzz from driving a £250000 + WRC car, fuel almost £3.00 per litre (will do 6 miles on a litre) quickly is an understatement.

You have a sweet job mate.

My friends and family think I do too, but if I'm honest it's alright.

Although I am my own boss I still work for my clients so technically they are my boss, it's like having 100 bosses a month rather than one.

I do like it though, I make very good money and I am free to do as I please day to day but it is a job whatever way you look at it.

I am a free spirit and routine drives me crazy.

It's not what I want to be doing for the rest of my days, I have plans to sell the company in a year or so and take up something else that's been in the pipeline.

No mate, the new venture involves this forum.

It is basically online marketing.

Building websites, making them popular and selling ad space or putting AdSense on them.

I currently make about $1000 through AdSense a month (on multiple websites), in a year or so I should be able to make a living from it.

And the money I make from selling Hybrid Computers will just be a bonus in the bank.

Wow now test driving cars at those speeds must be a rush.

Me, I work from home so I have to say that I am really satisfied being able to stay home with the boys and work when I want.

Tater rush doesn't come close. I remember testing a 400BHP 6R4 and hardly being able to stand when I got out off it. That thing used to scare me s*******.

I'm completely bored and fed-up with my job. It's an alright job and I used to really like it but now it's just repetitive. As I work nights in a minor injuries unit, you can imagine there aren't many people injuring themselves between midnight and 6am. All that time is spent here in reception on the computer trying to entertain myself till either a patient comes in or 8.30 finally gets here and I can go home! Also I'm pretty much at the bottom of the ladder so nearly everyone I work with are my superiors. I'd love to set up my own business but I've got nothing to offer that isn't already offered. Can I have a job with you mcbee!? I can be the on-site first aider!

Sometimes I enjoy my jobs, other times, not so much, but I guess that is true of every job.

At the minute its rather boring (hence me being on here instead of working). At the mo I work in a small office within the factory, and there is usually 3-4 of us in here, a good bunch too that I get on with very well. However, at the minute one is at another site, one is on holiday, and the other is on another project, which means that I work alone. So im stuck, in this office, for 8hours day, all by myself, apart from the odd trip to the shop floor to speak to people.

I keep convincing myself that im going to do something else with my life, but since I said that almost 2yrs ago nothing else has really happened. I’ve been trying all sort of things, I just want something interesting and rewarding to do.

Hold up...you mean you people actually enjoy your jobs?! I think theres a hidden clause in my contract stating that I am not allowed to enjoy my job...if I were to say one aspect that I actually like, I think it would have to be...checking out all the hotties that walk past my desk. I'd be lying if I said the hot ones get served first...lol

I enjoy mine, it's challenging and (more importantly) stimulating. I run around 130 staff on a realtime basis, also get involved in marketing various aspects of the company both internally and externally.
