A fourth Matrix?

I know i would after Revolutions.

Think about it, how often has Hollywood walked away from a successful 'money making' franchise? Terminator 3? Lethal Weapon 4? The new Rocky?

I realise the wachow....wochows.....wakows.....those two guys who were related conceived it as a trilogy but it is a pretty open ending.

The machine taking Neo away, but to where?
Sati saying to the Oracle: "Do you think we'll ever see him again?" and the Oracle responding "I suspect so".

I wouldn't mind.

Comments?

Hmmm, Another film about "A Series of Unfortunate Events". The first one didn't go through all the books. Only about 3 or 4.

Also another V for vedetta film. Evey could carry on V's work to fight ummm, something else. Lol

I don't think I'd like to see a new Matrix. I thought the series went downhill with each new installment.

A new Matrix would be sweet but i'd imagine almost impossible to please everyone with it. It would have to be a piece of movie brilliance (like the previous 3) if its to stand a very tiny chance of being successful. The animatrix was dead kewl too. I'd like to see a new Back to the Future!!! Replace the De-Lorean with a Veyron (give the De-Lorean to me!) Throw in the hoverboard and a storyline where Biff is Marty's Dad and Cousin at the same time, and the prof falls in love with a chick from the 1700's! Sorted!

I think there's probably a huge fan base for another Matrix.

Speaking of sequels, there are a lot of them out there this year: Spiderman, Pirates of The Caribbean, Shrek and Die Hard.

I wonder if doing more sequels is a trend?

(Also, there's a Hulk 2 being shot in Toronto this summer.)

Yeah, they appear to have just wanted to cash in on the franchise and not concerned themselves with making a good movie.

It really is rather terrible. I was gutted as well as I enjoyed the first.
